NAVIGATION CLINIC
9am-3pm
$50
Hibernia County Park, Coatesville, PA
Meet at picnic grove above the mansion and playground
Learn all you need to know about basic navigation. We will cover: topo map reading, compass, basic orienteering, UTM plotting, course plotting, and land navigation. Be ready for classroom and field work. Cost is $40 for GOALS ARA members and $50 for all others.
Dress for weather. Bring bag lunch and snacks. Bring compass if you have one. All other nav tools will be supplied by GOALS ARA. Be prepared for classroom map work and orienteering.

Directions:
To JCC from 95 North or
South:
Take exit for Rt. 202 North, follow 202 north for approximately 3 miles, go past intersection with Silverside Rd. with Exxon on corner and stay in left lane, make left turn (a U-turn) across from
Circuit City to 202 south, stay in right lane, make first right onto Garden of Eden Rd., follow for .25 miles to back entrance of JCC parking lot, proceed to back of
parking lot.
To JCC from 202 North:
Follow Rt. 202 south into Delaware, go past Rt. 92/Naamans Rd., past Concord Mall on left and stay to right, look for 6th Ave Electronics Store (old Circuit City) on
right, stay in right lane, make first right onto Garden of Eden Rd., follow for .25 miles to back entrance of JCC parking lot, proceed to back of parking lot.

Come on out for 1 hour of jammed packed information! Learn about race strategies, gear and equipment, team dynamics, choosing team mates, nutrition on the race course, and much more. A MUST COURSE FOR THOSE GETTING INTO THE SPORT
