THE UNCONTAINABLE is a unique and special event dedicated to honoring GOALS Founder, Dr Bill Gibbons.
Those who knew Bill personally can attest to his Uncontainable determination; Uncontainable energy and stamina; Uncontainable passion for life, family, and adventure, When he set out on a goal, nothing could stop his strength and conviction!
Join us for a Foot and Bike Adventure Race, where you won't be able to contain your enthusiasm for adventure!
But wait - there's more! Over the past year GOALS has sucessfully raised $4500 to plant a forest in Dr Gibbons' memory! What better way to celebrate his spririt of adventure, than to integrate this as the team challenge portion of the event!
On the morning of the race, you'll be provided a map with pre plotted checkpoints. Your team's goal is to visit as many checkpoints as possible within the 4 hour time frame. As part of your adventure, you'll join park rangers in a reforestation project - planting trees in an area which has been decimated by the Southern Pine Beetle. Each team will earn challenge points for trees planted! What an awesome way for all of us to have a fun adventure, help the environment, work as a collective team, give back to the park system, and honor a fellow adventurer!
Grab some friends and come on out for the fun!
