THE CRADLE OF LIBERTY

TWO RACES IN ONE GREAT WEEKEND!
JUNE 18-19, 2005
USARA National Qualifier-24
Hour Race
6 HOUR ADVENTURE SPRINT - Results
24 HOUR ADVENTURE RACE - Results
PHILADELPHIA, PA
The
Cradle of Liberty Adventure Race is back again this year!
This
time we’re having a 24 hour race and a 6 hour sprint race.
It’s
one great adventure weekend you don’t want to miss!
Welcome
to 24 hours of adventure in the city where America began! The Cradle
of Liberty is a balance of urban and wilderness challenges, winding
through the historic and scenic landscape in and around the City of Brotherly
Love. Racing teams will travel the same streets that our forefathers walked
on their way to make history. Teams of 2-3 racers will face all that adventure
racing has to offer during the most patriotic season in the most patriotic
city in America. The sleepless night that the racers will endure will
be for the benefit of those who wait every night for the gift of life.
30 miles of running, trekking, orienteering and scootering
50 miles of paved and mountain biking
13 miles of canoe paddling plus fun team challenges
For those who want an equally
fun and rewarding challenge, we offer our 6 hour Sprint Adventure Race. This race will start on
Sunday June 19, finishing at the same time
as the 24 hour race, ending in one big adventure finale! Teams will encounter
similar disciplines as the 24 hour race, but in a shorter condensed format.
5 miles of running, trekking, orienteering
10 miles of biking
5 miles of canoe paddling plus fun team challenges.
Grab some friends and come on out for
a great, fun challenge!
