Set in one of the most scenic areas of Pennsylvania,
Hawk Mountain is the seasonal home to many of the migrating raptors
in North America. This 12 hour race is in memory of a dear friend
and adventure racer who died while training a few years ago. She
was also an instructor at the Civil Air Patrol’s Search and
Rescue School that is based at Hawk Mountain. Proceeds from the
race will go to benefit that school. Racers will face the seemingly
unending challenges of Hawk Mountain including: rugged trekking
and orienteering, mountain biking, fixed ropes, and canoeing.
Teams can race for free by raising
funds for search and rescue!
Need some race prep? Be sure to come to our fall and
winter pre-race clinics.
